Dr. Marc Lehmann
Director Microbiology
Dr. Marc Lehmann is leading the R&D programs in the field of sample preparation and pathogen detection and is responsible for the product management of the microbiology product portfolio. In 2001 he joined the company as an employee of the first hour. In 2006, he was appointed co-holder of a non-exclusive general power of attorney. He is an expert in medical microbiology and the development of diagnostic tests.
With broad experience in general microbiology and immunology, Dr. Lehmann received his PhD in biology from the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena. He is author/ co-author of 21 scientific publications. Furthermore, he is inventor/ co-inventor on 6 patents in the field of sepsis diagnosis.
