    SIRS-Lab donated its budget for Christmas Cards to the “Committee for civil courage and against intolerance” in Jena. The regional association “Kokont” stands for the support of “human rights” and connects different initiatives of the city. SIRS-Lab wants to promote this important work and encourage the civil engagement.

    The prize is awarded by the German Sepsis Society for exceptional achievements in Sepsis research. At the 3rd International Congress Sepsis and Multiorgan Dysfunction in Weimar, Dr. S. Wirtz from the University Hospital Mainz, Germany, received this year’s award which is endowed by SIRS-Lab with 3000 Euro.

    Step by Step - SIRS-Lab donates 1000 € for Sepsis Research

    A 24 hours walk and every kilometre counts: Dr. Peter Bauer, a committed scientist in Sepsis research, took the challenge of a 100 km trip to raise donations for Sepsis research. SIRS-Lab was impressed by this idea and decided to assign 10 Euro for each kilometre Dr. Bauer brings under his feet. In the end, he managed to go the whole distance and SIRS-Lab donated 1000 Euro.
