Sample Preparation with LOOXSTER® - Concentrated Insight


LOOXSTER® concentrates bacterial and fungal DNA contained in total DNA-preparations, e.g. whole blood or ascites. Sample preparation with LOOXSTER® increases the sensitivity of nucleic acid-based detection methods by 80-100 times.

The LOOXSTER® Effect:

LOOXSTER® removes more than 90% of human background DNA as well as inhibitors of amplification-based methods. This reduces the signal-to-noise problem caused by the DNA background in complex human samples. LOOXSTER® substantially increases the sensitivity of downstream PCR protocols and simultaneously reduces the time-to-result.
