Pathogen Detection with VYOO® - the Fast Way in Sepsis Care 

VYOO® is a novel multiplex PCR assay to identify sepsis pathogens and antibiotic resistances in one process within 6 hours. It is based on the PCR method which visualizes the DNA of bacteria and fungi – the pathogens – in the blood of the patient.

VYOO® achieves exceptional sensitivity through SIRS-Lab’s proprietary PUREPROVE®  technology that concentrates bacterial and fungal DNA.
Fast and Precise Results
Within 6 hours, VYOO® detects 40 bacterial and fungal species that cause life-threatening infections. In the same process, important antibiotic resistances are identified. The system is unaffected by antibiotic pre-treatment and starts directly from up to 5 ml whole blood samples.
Guided Antibiotic Therapy
VYOO® carries a significant potential to guide antibiotic therapy in the early therapeutic window. That determines the course and prognosis of the septic patient. Moreover, the high utility of the sepsis test helps to safely deescalate antibiotic therapy.
Simple Handling
VYOO® can smoothly be integrated in the workflow by using standard PCR equipment. The robust technology drastically reduces the liability for contamination. No special training is required.
